Naturfotografie Werner WillmsEr ist ein ungewöhnlicher Pilz mit Tentakel, und er hat einen widerlichen Gestank und wird von Fliegen nur so angezogen. Die Tentakel dienen dazu, Sporen zu verteilen, die schleimigen Sporen werden dann von Insekten und vom Wind weiter verteilt. Wenn der Pilz noch eingeschlossen ist, nennt man das ein Hexenei.<br>
Vermutlich ist der Tintenfischpilz aus Australien/Neuseeland eingeschleppt worden.<br>
Er zählt nicht zu den giftigen Pilzen, ist aber aufgrund des unangenehmen Geruchs und muffigen Geschmacks ungenießbar.<br>
