Some feel good Furday news: Kelly the #kitten underwent surgery this week to repair her diaphragmatic hernia and survived! She's now on a long road to recovery, but this is a huge first step that was only possible thanks to the support of everyone who donated. Thank you for helping this sweet kitten get the care she needs

We took Ginger (my neighbor's stray/yard cat) for neutering yesterday, she's recuperating in our spare guest bedroom. I slept with her, to make sure she's ok. I'm a bit concerned because she hasn't peed a lot (there was only a small stain in the litter box). She was asking for Jack, her life partner, so I let him in to see her. He has been crying for her all day and night (he slept on our stairs). She was in pain today too. I hope she gets better soon.
