But he noted that under a federal #privacy law, the #DOJ must show that any information it demands on #patient identities is relevant to a legitimate law enforcement probe.

The way RFK spoke about people autism wasn't only insanely ill-informed, but also the single most bigoted thing I've heard in probably over a decade that passed the acceptability filter of main stream media.
Anybody who studied pathology learned about how tuberculosis used to define the human condition. It was public health, NOT morality, that resolved centuries of a TB pandemic.
The fact that chronic illness is NOT a moral failure is one of those most basic concepts in actual Medicine.
So when ppl like RFK, himself inflicted by chronic illnesses, moralize about health, they put their own character and lack of self-awareness on a grotesque display.
