In a sad farewell that chills the soul before the body, the mother of the little girl (Sila Al-Salut) bid farewell to her only child, who was martyred today in a bombing of the city of Khan Yunis. She held her for the last time, holding her tightly, not wanting to let go, and wept bitterly, her throat choking with words that came from the depths of a broken heart:
“I asked God for her, and in a moment she was gone… Oh God, give her everything she needs. She wants toys, she asked me for toys… You left me, Mama, the soul of my heart.”
